A woman has been released without charge as part of an attempted murder investigation in Southampton.
Police arrested two people, a 35-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, both from Southampton, following an alleged serious assault at Kent House in Kent Street, Northam, on Tuesday.
The woman was initially arrested on suspicion of intentionally assisting or encouraging the commission of an offence.

But now the force has confirmed she has been released from custody with no further action to be taken against her.
The man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
He remains in police custody.
The alleged victim, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The incident prompted a huge response from emergency services with armed police and an air ambulance called to the scene.
A large cordon was also set up.
